General Election Day 2022

Time: 7:00 am- 8:00 pm (If you are in line at 8:00 pm when the polls close, STAY IN LINE, you can still vote!)

All mail ballots MUST be submitted or postmarked no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. You can submit them by hand to the Calvert County Board of Elections at 30 Duke Street, Prince Frederick, MD 20678 or drop off your ballot at a secure ballot drop box.

If you wish to send your ballot by mail but want to ensure it is postmarked by November 8, take your completed ballot in its return envelope to your local post office and they can postmark it exactly on November 8. Keep in mind post offices do close at 5:00 pm. Click here for more information about submitting your mail-in ballot.

You are able to register to vote and cast your vote on the same day on Election Day, so if you miss the registration deadline, this would be your option to still be able to vote. (We do recommend to get registered prior to the deadline if possible.)
