The Maryland Youth Advisory Council is delighted to be hosting the Calvert Youth Townhall with Senator Michael Jackson! The event will take place on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at Prince Frederick Calvert Library from 5-7pm.

The event is an opportunity for Calvert teens to meet with Senator Michael Jackson representing our county in the Maryland General Assembly (state government). There will be a Q&A session for attendees to ask questions of the senator, and attendees will be able to provide input/feedback as solicited by the Senator and his team. We hope to have a meaningful, deliberative evening where teens can make their voices heard to adult leaders.

The event is completely free and open to all teens (inviting friends is encouraged!).
