Maryland Primary Date Delayed

Due to ongoing litigation surrounding redistricting maps across the state, The Maryland Court of Appeals has ruled that the Maryland Primary Election be moved to July 19, 2022. This also means that the candidate filing deadline has been moved to April 15, 2022. As this is a recent decision, changes to other election deadlines have yet to be announced, such as deadline to register to vote, so we will keep an eye out for those announcements and update our 2022 Election Information page as we confirm these changes.
