Election Day Volunteers Needed!
We need you to be an Election Day/Early Voting Volunteer! Even though we will be encouraging most voters to vote by mail, many voters will still prefer to or need to vote in person, so we must be ready to be there for them! We need individuals who are healthy and willing to step up and staff our informational tents available to assist voters before they cast their ballots in-person.
We will have a tent set up during the entire length of early voting at the early voting location in Prince Frederick, as well as one at each voting center in the county on Election Day. It is imperative that we have volunteers to staff each of these locations, as it is the last chance we get to talk to voters before they cast their ballot. Many voters come talk to us to ask questions, or need assistance, pick up some candidate literature, or even just to cheer each other on. Our presence is felt and so important.
Election Day is November 3, 2020, and early voting will be from October 26-November 2. The respective links will take you to sign up sheets that you may fill out for whatever time slots you would like at whatever location you’d like. If you’re flexible with your time and travel, please consider volunteering at a location or time with fewer sign ups so our presence is seen everywhere. All personal information will be kept confidential and only used to contact you if we need to reach you.
