Maryland Primary Postponed To June 2nd

Due to concerns surrounding the Coronavirus, Maryland has made the decision to postpone the primary election from April 28 to June 2. Early voting will take place May 21-May 28 from 10:00 am-8:00 pm daily. Absentee ballots are always available to each registered voter in Maryland. The new deadline to request an absentee ballot for the primary election is May 26 if the voter wants to receive the ballot by mail, or May 29 if the voter wants to receive the ballot electronically. Voted ballots must be postmarked on or before Tuesday, June 2. Please visit the Maryland Board of Elections website to apply for your absentee ballot.

Further details regarding this postponement can be found here in the official statement and guidance from the Maryland Board of Elections.

Please follow our Facebook page and this website, as well as subscribing to our newsletter, to keep up to date on any changes that occur surrounding the primary election. We will proceed as if the election will occur as normal, and plan to have informational booths at each polling place, so plan to sign up to volunteer at a booth if you are able.
